Number 9 is an 8 cage this is the only one I have of this kind any idea who made them and is this common. Part two Number 7 is a 12 cage same as above who what? Steph
#11 is Vitro. #9 is Asian ... I know that "8 vane" is sort of a magic number, but I'm not aware of a demand for a one-color Asian. But wait for a second opinion ... @Al Oregon do you know of a demand for that style cat? #7 looks Vitro-y to me but with only one view I won't commit on it. Al Oregon
Those single color 8-vanes are not too hard-to-find but I think cat's-eye collectors keep their eye out for them.

wvrons
Vitro was the only company that produced what they called Cage Cat Eye. Vitro Eight Fingers are another type of Vitro Cat Eye. The eight fingers or vanes are all on or near the surface. There are Vitro eight vane cage cat eyes, plus 5-6-7 vanes. The Vitro Cage Cat Eyes are about 10 cents, the Vitro Eight fingers are $30.00-$75.00 . There are Vitro hybrid two color eight finger marbles. People used to look for 9 vane multi color non USA Cat Eyes.
schmoozer
A few years back I sold a number of 8-vane examples on eBay for ~$3 each. The price dropped dramatically as I had 90 examples...
PROrtiz212
Cool history lesson there thats the kind of info I like. I don't worry about prices. I have a bunch of cages from the seventies all colors were mine when I was younger. But this is the only 8 cage I have and its blue I love all blue marbles can't get enough. And got lucky with this one. Thanks again folks.
wvrons
Vitro Eight Finger, or eight vane ? Not sure what a eight vane is ? Is it a eight vane Vitro Cage Cat Eye ? Or a non USA Cat Eye ? A big difference in Eight Vane Cat Eye and a Vitro Eight Finger.
