Marbleneophyte
I haven't been able to find an example like it. The closest I've seen is a Peltier Gray Dragon. Measures 5/8. Thanks!
Steph
I do think it's Peltier. I would consider it a Rainbo. Am not familiar with the name Gray Dragon. To me, "just" Peltier Rainbo.
Peltier Mibber
I like the marble. Looks NLR to me. I wouldn't have it as a Gray Dragon- A Gray Dragon: would have the same base glass but flaming orange swirl or ribbon. I don't know who named it. Peltier Mibber
I don't have a photo of one, but here is a link to one: https://www.peltiermarbles.info/unique-examples Perhaps the site owners knows who named it. So far there are 3 known examples. I'm sure there's more. As of this writing, a rare Pelt, but not well known. Unknown market value.
Chuck G
You will find (many) variants to this specific named marble. So many (different) base colors as i have found, and they range all over the color spectrum. I keep finding different examples (harder now) each year. I found a (new) example of the "Flaming Dragon" at the last marble show i was at. A "V-6 Flaming Dragon", the regular green opaque base with the wide ribbons (whacked) out, one pole ribbon has a V shape and the opposite pole ribbon a 6 number. I know Peltier made all sorts of (odd) examples but this one is really (COOL) looking. Chuck G---
Peltier Mibber
Well, I stand corrected. I even have 3 or 4 and didn't know it.
Chuck G
Yes, grey ,tan and mustard (butterscotch) base examples of these are a bit scarce and HTF. Base colors do make a difference in this family type. Chuck G---
