wvrons Posted May 15, 2020 Report Share Posted May 15, 2020 That is Bogard. Typical bad glass, not cooked proper, full of gas bubbles. Jack liked best to make industrial marbles. They had to be specific on size and roundness but the bubbles did not make any difference. He could produce the industrial marbles fast and steady but he never liked making any of the play marbles at the Bogard company or the Jabo company. That is why they(Jabo)hired Dave McCullough. Marbleized Posted July 9, 2020 Report Share Posted July 9, 2020 I actually purchased a Bogard catseye that looks similar to these, not too long ago. I LOVE bubbly marbles for some reason. I guess, when I was growing up we basically had foreign cateyes, and opaque Marble Kings, and clearies that had really tiny bubbles if any (we called them puries). So this is so novel to me.
