Rooster
It's a little dinged up but it's a first for me. I know it's old...
I'llhavethat1
You didn't mention a size but Akro is a good possibility

Steph
It's a handgathered slag. I think Akro is most likely the manufacturer. If Akro, then 1920 give or take on the date.
wvrons
I agree Akro slag. But old does not mean value. Many newer marbles can have values same as vintage ones. Condition is a big key with marbles, no, matter what age or how rare. It is a lot dinged up. Hits, sparkles, big chips and missing glass. Condition below nm-. Below any collector value at all. A example to learn with.
Rooster
Value means nothing to me so I love it! I was born in Clarksburg WV so I absolutely love Akro! Thank you everyone. Yes i fully understand condition, condition, condition is everything in collectibles. It's just nice to finally have a really old swirl/slag. Rooster
Yes newer marbles are beautiful too. The 2nd most I ever paid for a single mib was for a Jabo. It's TBD if the mib I paid the most for is also a Jabo, will post pics when it gets here. On marbles I fully appreciate the value they hold but I collect because I like them, and I collect many many things.
Chad G.
I've been bit by multiple bugs as well, toys, comics, fishing gear etc... The mib bug seems to have bitten hardest and the itch just won't go away, a lifelong hobby for sure !! Can't wait to see pics of the new mib Deanna. wvrons
Tell Roger and Claudia, Hi from Ron S. I have not got to see them like usual this year due to the virus. I think everyone in Clarksburg knows Roger and Claudia.
