akroorka
At one inch that is one crazy looking marble. The first image looks like a Pelt, the second looks like a Vacor, the third looks Pelt again, the last looks like an Akro. If it was 5/8" I would say Peltier. More input needed for sure. Nice one--Marble--On!!!
schmoozer
Well, that narrows it down some🥴. not MK, as the colors are not veneer. Black base. If it had AV, worlds largest golden rebel! I am leaning toward Pelt.
akroorka
I agree--not MK, Not Master, Not Vitro. The colors look Akro or Peltier to me. The size, yellow color and cutlines leans towards Akro but Pelt made some nice big ones too. The digs have come up with some pretty awesome marbles. Show the cutlines in some more images and prove us both wrong-lol. Marble--On!!

Chad G.
Looks like a monster opaque black base "Peltier Clown" to me but I don't see typical lazy S seam on one side, they don't always have it !! Hmm, here's a pic of an opaque black base Pelt Clown for comparison, what do you think ?? I'll say Peltier Clown Pictures of another Opaque black base clown exhibiting lazy "S" seam I just found a pic of a clown just as big or bigger, the size isn't stated "but" the big one in the middle of the pack. Chad G.
Yes I would be happy as well Brad, I see a "blowhole" some "pitting" & what looks like "dimples" or depressions where gas bubbles released at the surface when the marble was still hot, all typical for so many Pelts & one more reason for me to go that way. In fact I'm convinced that's what it is. A pretty rare Pelt & VVVHTF in any condition & even more so in that Monstrously huge size.
schmoozer
That is why I was thinking a dug marble. Definitely not produced in quantity, a “that didn’t work” example. thanks for your opinion!

Chuck G
I will go with a HUGE Peltier (black base) "Clown". I have seen a few of these over the years. Finding an example of this in near mint to mint is difficult. Very good to have in your Pletier collection. Chuck G---
