Veneered marbles are surface applied to a base glass; this one is coming out from the interior. Marble King marbles are veneering kings but these cats were injected into the interior of a glob of glass--sometimes the injection veered off course and came up to the exterior. Marble—On!! The examples you are possibly thinking of are the Peltier "Fruit Cocktail", as these examples have the interior works with (fatter) ribbons.
