Fire1981
It’s not peach or red. It’s orange. Would this be a CAC or Foreign?
Ric
Looks like a German striped transparent to me.
akroorka
Finding an orange Slag is very hard for me to do. They are out there but when I compare them to a red one or an amber one I will almost always question myself. They may have been a crossover between the two colors. I believe that Akro made an orange slag and CAC as well, maybe even Pelt did. I have seen very few of any maker that I did not question. They are probably very hard to get a true image of. A true orange slag from any maker, worldwide, is a rarity imho. Marble—On!!

Ric
I believe you, Rick. It's like Art said, that transparent color is notoriously tough to capture. Putting it on a yellow background with good lighting might help.
Fire1981
I have an amber based one that’s a little bigger. I need to find it and post it here later.
Fire1981
So no on the slag and yes on a stripped transparent of some kind ?
Ric
I'd consider the German striped transparent a type of slag. And I've seen this sort of "damage" on a number of old marbles. I think it may have been intentionally done with a file or blade of some sort to produce a thumbnail hold so the shooter could get better 'english' on their shots. jhomer2172
Agree with the striped transparent, not a slag. Last one looks kinda orange but lighting can do a lot. jon
