You're right on the money from what I see. The seller says "Vintage hand painted" I'm guessing "vintage" could mean just about anything except antique ??

Well, the marbles could be vintage but newly hand-painted, or the paint could be vintage and the marbles could be new. ;)

Vintage is a wine term and only valid when used with a year. It is often used to deceive when used with "antiques". In the antiques domain it can be used interchangeably to mean "older than last year",  "older than me", or "I think it might be kinda old". You rarely see it used when something is obviously and truly old. The solution is don't use it unless you are discussing wine, and be wary of those who do. Sorry abut the rant. Thanks
