Chad G.
So called, "Indian Blanket" do you have a measurement ?? Supposedly these were all dug along w/ several others types including Akro superman corks because of the inherent fracturing in the trans red glass. chicagocyclist
I'm surprised to see green in an Indian Blanket... aren't they normally black, red and yellow?
Chad G.
What appears to be green is where the black overlapped the yellow, here's a pic w/ one of mine doing the same thing, the larger one also has just a bit of it.
akroorka
Welllllll------ it could be green. Green was used as a color to mimic black amongst other colors such as purple, blue and-----others. Marble--On!!

I had to go through dozens before I found some in minty shape w/o fractures and that hadn't been polished, I did keep one that was polished because it was so big. Fire1981
So is this color combo associated with only the digs or did some of them make it into circulation 🔥

Just like any dug marbles some will be in perfect mint shape & others, well you know. The red in both the Superman and the Indian blanket was transparent & notorious for having surface fractures i.e. incompatible w/ the base glass. Maybe @wvrons will chime in later tonight ?? There's a word for it but for the lifame I can't remember it right now ??
