It looks a bit "Greasy" or extra glossy---chromic almost---the finish I mean. The black part is more than likely a form of plum or purple if backlit. They made some very nice ones in this format. I do not think this is any kind of Tiger Eye - just a big Vitro Patch and Ribbon.
