Chime in here🔥

LOL Fire--I will chime in as needed.

Akro Slags came in so many variety's of coverage that I will not count this one out as one.

There is a nice amount of white here for any maker---nice bright white--a hard one--for sure--

Ric has a good case--but I am with Chad on this one.

For this size--I am not totally convinced that it it is not a CAC.

Marble--On!!

Slags are always hard--nit picky for sure--

I will never stand my ground on a slag ID--the experts on these are dwindling as we all age.

Killer slags are still a very base of marble collecting--sadley the knowledge base is being lost---

Marble--On!!

Just curious --What is 'Cerise'? Is that a name for a marble style?...or a company?... thanks for the clarification.

The marbles are thought to be Peltier since the origin on Gropper boxes is Ottawa, IL.

Gropper was a company that marketed marbles (probably a few other toy type items as well). As far as I know, they never made any marbles.
They purchased them from a variety of marble making companies and sold them under their own brand name.
This is what we in the collecting community call "Jobbers".

Cerise may have been a name that Gropper came up with to market them------
Gropper may be one of the original Jobbers of marbles—not too sure here.

More opinions are needed for sure.
Marble—On!!
