They seem to be almost as common as a Popeye for sale of this type though--maybe a few hundred thousand--or less--they were all put up for sale to collectors and all collectors were in the market for such. Yeh, I know, a pickup truck full of old wooden boxes full--that is still a bunch of marbles-but let’s get real. These are some of the most collectable "dumped Marbles" ever. (with the exception of most of the river dumped CAC) I always wanted one or two of these Akro type and I have a few--e-nuff said.
