Parmcat
I got these in a lot of clay marbles. These look more stone then clay to me, and....they have this off blue mark that glows under black light. I have NO IDEA what I have here
Alan
If the light is blue or violet, it is a reflection. In any case, UV reaction isn't an indicator of anything special. 1

More curious what they are made if, it what they are
Ric
I do think there are small spots of fluorescent material on these marbles, and those spots are actually fluorescing. Otherwise, I would expect the whole marble to look the same. Although, I suppose it is possible that there is just some highly reflective material on those particular spots too. But imagine walking under a "blacklight" with a white shirt on. The shirt looks purple because of reflected light from the UV source - it does not fluoresce. I think this is what Alan is saying. 1

I'm not even sure they are marbles. They look like mill balls.

akroorka
"Mill Balls" were used in the polishing process of a variety of items. Throw what ever into a revolving tank with these and they get polished. It still happens today in some sort. Cool find! Marble--On!!
Ric
Yeah, "marbles" was not the right word to use here - my bad.
