Fire1981
Am I the only one here? These are a few of my Colorado Mule deer I have been fortune enough to harvest. I did the European Mounts myself. Fire1981
I process all of the meat myself. Steaks, burger, sausage and jerky. One deer would feed me for a year when I was a Bachelor. $50 for the tag. I could splurge and have enough money to go buy a 2lbs T-Bone and a cheap cold 6 pack and call it good🔥 RAR

I have butchered beef, pigs and chickens/etc. I do not mind it a bit and actually--I love doing it. It is an art. Doing it yourself--nothing gets wasted--nothing. I miss a good neck roast--slow and low.
The Nickel Guy
I stopped hunting about a couple years ago. The last two deer I put in the freezer were shot, dressed, skinned, quartered and dropped off at the butcher by my hunting buddy. All I had to do was tell the butcher how I wanted it processed and I paid that bill. I hope I get to do this kind of hunting the rest of my life. I do get in my side by side Ranger and go up the hill at sunset every other day and look at the deer up there. We have some nice racks coming out at dusk and I saw a piebald the other day. I just don't want to shoot them anymore. Here's where I go up the hill. In the "Day Maker" ( I named it that )
