I process all of the meat myself.

I have not hunted for awhile but I did the same.

I have butchered beef, pigs and chickens/etc. I do not mind it a bit and actually--I love doing it.

It is an art:wub:.

Doing it yourself--nothing gets wasted--nothing.

I miss a good neck roast--slow and low.

I stopped hunting about a couple years ago. The last two deer I put in the freezer were shot, dressed, skinned, quartered and dropped off at the butcher by my hunting buddy. All I had to do was tell the butcher how I wanted it processed and I paid that bill. I hope I get to do this kind of hunting the rest of my life.

I do get in my side by side Ranger and go up the hill at sunset every other day and look at the deer up there. We have some nice racks coming out at dusk and I saw a piebald the other day. I just don't want to shoot them anymore.

Here's where I go up the hill. In the "Day Maker"

( I named it that )
