Agree, a dug marble, I have a bunch of Heaton W an abalone looking surface on them, some are just coated. I guess it's some kind of chemical reaction between the glass and the chemicals and moisture in the ground that makes the glass react after being in the ground so long.

Same Abalone like reaction on the glass surface from one of the dug Heaton I have
