stonehenge4242
I read the thread in general glass chat and was intrigued, i think this is oxblood, it sure looks like it when using my loupe. A fine horsehair strand on each ribbon. It is very diffucult to get color right with such fine threads. Any help is appreciated as always!

I do not know why but these weird oxblood lines show up in a variety of makers included with the color green. The green colors also show an almost but not quite common find of Aventurine--this I can explain as a a mixture of minerals that did not quite get mixed into the glass as the maker desired. The Oxblood, mixed with the green--in many makers, I cannot explain and am mesmerised by it. Perhaps @cheese knows more? Marble--On!!
