Mystery corkscrew

I thought this might be an Akro, but it is more complicated than that. To start, the frosted finish is unlike any Akros I have. Then when I looked at it closely, I think there are 2 separate corkscrews, each starting at an opposite pole and spiraling in opposite directions. The last picture shows where the top cork trails into the lower one. It also shows where the lower cork tail ends as a thin line barely separated from the main mass of the lower cork (at about 4pm in the pic). This makes me think it's hand made. There is a possible pinched or crease pontil at one pole as seen in pic 5.

So I'm thinking it may be a Yasuda?

Thanks folks! I appreciate all of you helping out with trying to ID this mib. I would say the pontil on mine also has a short clean crease cut off line as well. But as noted, it is very hard to see even in hand.

A final question- why the more frosted finish to this marble? Was it made that way or is it the result of damage? I think this on might have been in the dirt for a while as the deeper dings had/have dirt packed in them that even a scrubbing didn't remove. I think I need to soak it for a few hours to see about getting it out.

Thanks again!

Interesting. I can see what you mean by the white base being lightly tinted by the purple. That is definitely a possibility with mine. Not 100% sure about it, but that may explain the frosted look.

@aussie Can you share some pictures of yours? I'd love to see it.

I am in Oakland, CA, USA

Thanks for the heads up fellers. Different ideas in different countries I guess. I would never intentionally insult anybody, absolutely least of all @shiroaiko who is my favourite marble person in the whole world. My photography skills are nonexistent and I think this is a difficult surface? The third photo may just give the impression of the straight line cutoff as a pale line in the centre purple?
