Interesting about the polishing "practice"- I don't have much experience with polished marbles or how to ID them as such. Fortunately, this wasn't passed off to me as anything special. It was part of a bulk purchase and I got it cheap. It would have come from an estate sale at some point back, so it's long-term history is unknown. I understand the air bubbles, hit marks, flea bites, etc. looking a certain way are a key. Could you expand on what you mean by the "sharp edges"? To me they look and feel smoother than they might otherwise- like they have been polished or smoothed over (fancy that!). In my mind, that is the opposite of sharp, so could you clarify? Thanks!
