  1. Haha...love the older US mint designs. The 1837 half-cent was not a mint issue but on of my favorites, along with the buffalo nickel.
  2. They are LRBNCs, “ little round balls, no clue”😂 humor from my late father-in-law...
  3. 1,2 and 6,7 look Mexican, Vacor types. the other need more pics
  4. And the answer is a big “NOPE” they all knew what it was🥴. i did get some great help from Dani on IDing some mysteries: my CAC striped transparent was German. my little JABO colored corkscrewish mib was indeed an AKRO, WITH WIERD COLORING. my 5/8s oxblood patch I posted a while back might be one of an early JABO run that was not officially released. They were mixed with other mibs in jars and sold at auctions.... We saw some great people and lots of awesome mibs. this old Fredericks and Nelson display I recently bought was thought to have most likely been used to display cigars. Still researching it but great for marbles.
  5. Bingo😁 taking it the show, will see if I can fool anyone there....
  6. Ron, just looked at Alan’s marble site and the type is pictured, as a 3-color swirl. http://www.buymarbles.com/marblealan/cac.html
  7. Never saw it as a CAC, unless that makes it more $$$$?
  8. It is a cool marble, unlike anything I have. headed to the IAMC meet tomorrow in Tukwila, WA. should be fun!
  9. Great article, thanks for sharing. i have to admit to tossing common marbles from time to time for children to find. Beaches are a favorite location.

    Alley?

    Found in a jar... 15/16”
  11. Nice🙏🏻 Good to hear from you, it has been a few years.
  12. Boy, 2 “faux pauxs” in a single post. It has been too long away from the hobby. are spirals and ribbons similar? i may need to post some snakes to make amends. i do have a hybrid spiral/ace, with both milky and clear glass separated by an orange spiral. There is also red/blue “snaking” above the orange on the surface. what categories did I miss???🤔
  13. In the first pic they look like red clearies, except the center mib. as for rarity, I have no clue.
  14. Here are two pics. The center is a two-color red/blue.
  15. Yes, transparent...🤭 I did some digging around and found 4 examples, all red. Don’t remember seeing this type with any other transparent color.
  16. How rare are clear- colored snakes with a clear base? I have a red example that I almost tossed, thinking it was a catseye. It is very hard to photograph...
