  1. I see your's also has a rounded top with metal edges everywhere but the bottom. Mine is wood all around with a metal insert to produce the rounded top of the playing surface.
  2. That's another good example, Steph. I'm convinced they never got the red ones looking too much like the others. Sure, the structure/seams can be very similar but the glass is really quite different.
  3. Wow, those are pretty surprising for Champion. Thanks a lot for showing them! Although, I do think the OP is an old Master or maybe, Akro. The glass is quite different than the Champs, I think. I am interested to know if you have ever seen a red Cloudie where the base glass looks like what you'd expect after seeing the other colors? I'm sure you get my drift, the base glass on Cloudies is pretty distinctive.
  4. @Tommy It's kind of cool being able to compare the two games. They are obviously different, your's being a 3-in-1 game - the layouts are different, and the ball release levers are different. Your's also needs a "book or similar object" to prop it up on to make it slant. Mine has little wooden "leg" attached to the top. And I have never seen a box or the "Mortimer Glass Company" name before either, so thanks a lot for sharing! I think the shooting mechanism on these games is too cool!
  5. Nice game - the first time I've seen a box. Here is a post that shows mine and some patent info.
  6. @davesnothere The middle one in the second pic (top in the 5th pic) is especially nice!
  7. @akroorka It's just that the base glass of this marble reminds me a lot of the base in these no-oxblood Akro "bricks", not that I necessarily think the OP is an Akro, even though I was leaning that way slightly.
  8. Yes, that's a pretty good reference. I have been looking for a red Cloudie for a long time but the closest thing I can find that is similar in translucency to the other colors isn't really that similar at all, it looks far more opaque and filamentous - a bit more like a solid game marble. In fact, if this marble didn't have that red on it, I might think this was one. Having said all that, if anyone has a nice photo of a red Master Cloudie, I'd really like to see it. Maybe they're not as elusive as I think?
  9. @cheese This one is a shade over 5/8" and I think the glass is old, but it is kinda odd, for sure. Have you ever seen a good red Cloudie or any Master with transparent red?
  10. @akroorka I could easily see Master but it's unlike any other I've seen. The base glass is very cool.
  11. Yeah, I can see why people like Pelts - that's a dandy!
  12. I'll say, it's a nice marble no matter what you call it. Now that I think of it, I may have a Melonball around here somewhere, I'll have to take a look - seems like I had one at some point too.

    Help with ID?

I think this may be another Champion.

    ID please

My best guess for this one is Champion.
  15. Nice way to start the day! @davesnothere Cool Rainbos, it's pretty fun collecting the white on transparent colored glass Rainbos to go with that clear transparent one - they made them with several different base colors @ScottH Nice group - good looking Rebel!
  16. Maybe not too helpful but it might give you an idea - this took a STRONG light!
  17. I am leaning Akro over Master Made for this one but I would like some other opinions. One seam looks a little tight for Akro but the other doesn't look at all Master to me. Then there's the base glass, It totally reminds me of one of those translucent Akro "non-brick bricks", like a Mulberry Brick, with red or something. ๐Ÿ˜„
  18. Here are some common Rainbow Reds - I like the way the ribbons are misplaced on the top middle one. ๐Ÿ™‚
  19. @Dave 13 I like the blue and brown one! @davesnothere I haven't seen one quite like that before, so thanks for showing it - nice color! @William Are you pulling a Ron - sneaking a Vitro in just to see who's paying attention, or am I seeing things? ๐Ÿ™‚
