    2 Patches

The first is definitely Kokomo. Not too sure about the second one.
  2. Looking at these again, I think that only the 3rd marble may NOT be JABO. What size is each of them?
  3. Neither Champion nor Ravenswood made 1" marbles (excluding Paul Bunyans, perhaps). I think they're probably all Alley but a bit less sure about the second one since JABO also made similar.
  4. Pelt names seem to be evolving but I think most folks would call it a Lemon Lime, some might call it a Girl Scout, and OG's might still refer to it as a John Deere. Wise people will pay more attention to the marble than the name. 🙂
  5. What size is the swirl? Which photos represent the colors most accurately - the first four or the last two?
  6. AFAIK, a pigtail is wholly submerged in the base glass. This would be a "snake", if it's Akro, which i am not sure about.
  7. I agree the size would be unusual for Champion but the Cat's Eyes don't look very MK to me, unless they are dug rejects, which is also a possibility I suppose. To me, they look more like Heaton's but I think the size would be unusual for Heaton too.
  8. The large red on yellow looks mostly like an Akro Corkscrew from these views. The other yellow-based ones and the lavender one are probably Alley, and I think the "tuqouise" one might be Alley too. The other two look like Ravenswoods, or maybe Alleys to me.
  9. I'm with Chad, as far as "bifurcated goes" - not quite there, IMO.
  10. Most or all of the marbles in your first pic are not Peltier. The second photo shows Rainbos - there are no Super Boys here as far as I can tell, although the upper right one (second pic) might be, it's hard to tell from a single partial view. As far as I can see, there aren't any "special" marbles here, just pretty common Peltiers and WV Swirls.
  11. We really need to see straight on shots of both seams on all the marbles for a better opportunity at an accurate ID. The upper right one does look Master from these views, but there is essentially only one view of the other three marbles so it's difficult to say for sure what they might be - try to show a few different views of each marble when you post for an ID.
  12. Here are a few better pics of the marbles. The clearies range from 17/32" to 7/8" and the Cat's Eyes are all 7/8" or just shy of that. The Cat's Eyes are crude with lots of tiny bubbles and at least some space between the mostly thin translucent vanes - intriguing but not exactly pretty.
  13. I agree with Akro and Vitro.
  14. Thanks a lot for showing those, Dink. I will try to get some individual pics of mine and post them tomorrow. I agree that the Cat's Eyes in this muslin bag seem pretty unique too, and I would have a hard time attributing them to another maker. I feel the same way about a few of the clearies.
  15. It's important to remember that there are often "outliers" in every marble run, and that could include size, structure, color(s) or any combination thereof. I've seen Jorkscrews fool well seasoned Akro collectors.
  16. I think @Alan probably knows more about Akro "pigtails" than most, including me.
  17. It's not a cat's eye type marble . . . If I remember correctly, the Akro pigtails I have seen are like a wispy tight spiral, usually inside of a transparent spiral (Snake).
  18. Not like the Akro "pigtails" I've seen - more like a ribbon.

    Alley?

It might just be the lighting but it looks more yellow than I am used to seeing, especially the second one.
  20. It looks a lot like some Champion game marbles I've seen.

    Alley?

The base is a little unusual for a Pistachio, sure looks like it might be a variant though. It's definitely a nice marble, regardless.
  22. Thanks Al, I know there are all kinds of back-filled Champion poly bags out there. I've seen the headers selling by the roll on EBay, which really complicates matters.
  23. I was expecting opaque game marbles or swirls. Instead, I found clearies and cat's eyes . . . Unfortunately, the letter was not inside.
