  1. Looks more Akro now that I see that base glass.
  2. The one on the far right may be Peltier.
  3. Peltier made some Peerless Patches that are similar - the patches are usually more varied in shape than similar Akros.
  4. Some or most may be Peltier.
  5. #4 looks newer to me - I'd need more views.
  6. William has it - mostly Moss Agates.

    Pink Glass

Yes, JABO - I think it is Burmese glass from Fenton. As a general rule, if I see a vintage machine made marble with pink on it, I try to snag it. It's just not that common of a color on the old ones.
  8. Nice advertisements - not only do they look cool framed, they're a great source of information for naming, dating, etc. You may look a long while to find Alley-specific advertising. I don't think I have ever seen a package with Alley Agate printed on it. As far as I know, Alleys were only packaged by jobbers (Pressman was a big one) and you can find them in packaging with a variety of different names and labels - Marble King, Sure Shot, Big Shot, Allies (the small 3 marble boxes), etc.
  9. That's a sweet Berry Pink, Rick! The big swirl is nice too. Do you know who made it?
  10. It looks CAC to me.
  11. Pretty sure this is it . . . click the bold topic name next to Ron's "W" to go there.
  12. More like an oddity than weird but here's a bag with a Champion label stapled over a Penny King label . . . Of course, I had to peek to find out. 🙂
  13. Back in the day, Big John Ives had whole tables with such back lighting to display his Cairo marbles.
  14. I just posted a sextuple ingot Pelt in the weird thread . . .
  15. I don't think the number of "ingots" correlates with a particular manufacturer.
  16. It's about the right size for a double ingot of 2 x 5/8" marbles, and it looks like it could be too.
  17. These are a newer style Vitro All Red, from the 1960s, if I recall correctly.
  18. Here's another weird one - a Peltier sextuple ingot Rainbo. It's 1 1/8" and near perfectly round without that little nub you can see in pic 2. I gave it to Bill years ago - he really likes the weird stuff too.

    Akro Opal...

I'll bet William is thinking of a "Fire Opal", better known as a Flintie, although I don't think this is one.
