  1. I don't know for sure but if calligraphy is a type of pattern and not a specific color combination it doesn't make much sense why it would be - it is a different glass than used for the striping.
  2. I think about a pattern well defined, intersecting lines, which resemble fine handwriting. How busy the pattern gets is dependent on the number and length of the lines. I think there almost has to be significant wiggle room in the definition. How would you define it . . . an average of seven lines intersecting no fewer than four times per cubic centimeter over at least 60% of the marble's surface? lol
  3. I think I see what Galen sees. It looks like the second seam is buried deep in the fold but . . .?
  4. No name that I know of, but it wouldn't surprise me.
  5. I mean, if there's going to be controversy around here, I would just as soon you start it.
  6. Hey Steph, I'm not sure I know what a calligraphy is. What do you think?
  7. Any AV in the fizz? And does anyone have an example of a Green Sunset? I have heard of them but don't know if I have seen one, since I can't put the name to a marble.
  8. The colors and structure are nice. The orange peel is crazy.
  9. It's cool. I'd have it with my Alleys.

    This Swirl

Peculiar, no idea who might have made it.
  11. That's a nice marble. Are they all blue?
  12. I am confident that one is Asian - I probably should have shown the other seam. Although I do think a couple could be Mexican.

    Brain Twister(S)

Revolving doors are the only ones men are supposed to pass through first - so they can push and the lady doesn't get her gloves dirty.
  14. They do have a foggy surface and the inclusions are what people often refer to as ovenbrick.
  15. I don't have as many of the blue ones, Steph. I think they look great together, though. Lots of my examples have fractures - like the one on the right.

    Pelt Patches

The base on Realers does vary in opalescence, just like Vitro's Opals. Sometimes I wonder if it's related to patch color.
