  5. I had forgotten about this, as I saw no significance at the time, but I almost remember Galen pointing that out to me, now, and it may have been with the notes from his trip to Japan...
  6. I don't remember if "fake" was the word that Galen used, but I remember how skeptical he was of mon's beautiful "exotics" when I sent the picture to him for his opinion.
  7. Thank you to Stephanie and most of my friends for posting pics of my marbles and stuff. Here are some more pictures of my boxes of marbles and other things... Also, Happy Birthday Ant !!! I also made boxes for the Second Run marbles... I made a dodo, too...shown with some Peltiers...

  10. I would expect me to be wrong on this, but I'm voting NLR on Steph's marble, and rainbo on Bill's, which looks to be a very different constuction and marble type to me.

  12. The only solid color, all aventurine marble I found at Peltier is an odd green that I'm not familiar with, slightly over one inch, and lightly swirled, not stripey. It has a fine, shimmery silver aventurine. Shown with a pearlescent patch for comparison.

  18. Lloyd...yes, I'm eight blocks south of the Capitol, downtown. Galen...you mean the old Chryslers ? I got rid of them a few years ago. Darla...it's a work in progress, a long ways to go, still.
