  1. I would have to say that my favorite of the dug marbles shown was always that large Ketchup and Mustard, shown here the last time I saw it...
  2. I would say that is a NLR, and that the burnt rebels were more likely made on a Miller machine. I believe that the Burnt Rebels and Burnt Christmas Trees predate the more familiar NLR's with six ribbons in the flip-flop pattern.
  3. That one is a mis-shaped, fractured, reject christmas tree.
  4. I think Peltier had a bunch of those nondescript plain pink boxes that they used more or less like jobber boxes, and they could have just about any kind of Rainbos in them.
  5. Left handed in sports, write with my right hand.
  6. I live in an old post-war Japanese neighborhood downtown, and there is a Japanese shaved ice place down the street. The sweet bean snowcones are one of the more popular flavors there. They have green tea snow cones, also, but no ice cream.
  7. The safety razors with double edged blades were standard from the 1920's to the 60's, I think. Houses constructed in that time period often had built in medicine cabinets in the bathroom, with a slot inside to safely dispose of the blades inside the wall.
  8. Contrary to what Galen and Sami might say, I think Peltier red aventurine is a myth.
  9. Flaming or not, that is a nice marble. I still am not convinced that a ruby bee has to have red aventurine...

    Nova's?

There was blue on white base, and orange on white base, but not black on white base, as far as I know. Some Novas are also pictured in Steph's Study Hall > Mostly Pix - Peltiers > page 2 > post #32
  11. Glassonix were not feathered slags. I'm still leaning towards something along the lines of multi-colors on those... (Steph's Study Hall...Acme Realers....post #7)
  12. This is from 1930, while still with Gropper...
  13. Galen posted a picture of one on the first page of "Sharing Pictures Of Pelt Rainbos", post #9...

    Landlord

Is that one of Tracy's little guys ? He sure has grown !
  15. I think this is a poor example of a Peltier inky....it's on a soft yellow base...
  16. I don't remember if I posted these before....
  17. I'd like to see the fantastic Pelt that Sami got and Galen covets, please....
  18. It was only 105 in downtown Sacramento, not so bad...
  19. That's a keeper, Lloyd. Hey Steph...maybe "don't-hickey" ?
  20. Galen made both of his marbles, and handed them off to me, to snap them off the punty and put them in the annealing kiln, because I warned him that was the tricky part. I dropped both of them, and they blazed off across the floor, and rolled under the fridge. We had hecka trouble picking them up and getting them to the kiln. Galen also brought his CAC's to show me, because I had never seen one in person. He let me hold one, and I dropped it, too.
