I don't know about the cereal box marbles, but I sold a promo pack that came on top of the lid of JIF peanut butter, it was really cool, now I wish I still had it. I believe it was 6 cateyes. I wish I had a pic, it had a round cardboard bottom and a hard clear plastic top, I'm sure to fit perfectly on the top of the jar. by the way, those are awesome videos!

It's funny u say that, I gave our cat so many marbles to play with, and we found them under the stove, refrigerator, dryer, washer, and behind the toilet...lol, the thing is some of them I actual like now, but at the time, they were throw aways :b so alot of them are cleaned up and stuck back in my keeps...some of them just as a rememberance to our fiesty cat who had passed last year. Bauble was his name.

I think I just short circuited my computer with all the drool I couldn't hold back .....I will be suprised if this posts at all!

I am almost positive this is not Vacor, I don't know what it is, but not Vacor. It is slightly transparent along one of the blue stripes...you can see the blue stripe go a little deep (in all 3 pics) along the transparent black; that center black stripe is the only transparent one...but only slightly. The rest of the black is opaque. When did they make the imitations? This one looks to me exactly like the first mib on the left in post #10....my flash has washed out the color a bit on my pic, in hand, the color is actually a little more lavender than my pics shows.

K, so, I've had this marble for awhile now, and this seems the best spot to show it. Is this a blue panther? and if it is; what is it worth; and if it is not, what is it? it has no marks, except the fingerprints I put on it, and no aventurine....I've been wondering what it is, it's 5/8ths. Thanks all!

MAN...I am sooooo jealous, my mommy told me she fried some up for breakfast the other day....and YES, I still call her mommy!!!! LOL well, we are heading to Kansas in June, so I should be able to get some next year....I'm sooooo happy to get outta the desert! I keep seeing all the things I'ma missing....my hubby likes it, but i'm just not into frying up cactus! THANKS FOR THE PIC REMINDER OF ONE OF THE REASONS WHY I LOVE THE NORTH! K, I change my mind, I'd buy that sea marble!

On this, I do feel sorry for whoever does buy them unless they think they can shine them up....like you I would rather be the one who finds them, then I gotta story to tell; or just wander what story the marble has to say...wish I could hear them !!!! Yes, and someone needs to take you to the beach...my favorite place; besides with my family, a cup of coffee, flashlight, magnifying glass, camera, and marbles !

Well, at least I'm not crazy with my thoughts! It just upsets me that people take advantage of new/naive collectors....I guess it happens in all areas of collecting...whatever makes a quick buck.

I rock tumbled a few 'cause they were too damaged and they turned out just like this. Now I just need to buff them...

LOL....I love hunting for sea glass. I once found a beautiful piece of French pottery....wish it was those lovely marbles! 15 yrs huh...well, I guess I could cut through the chase and get me a whole handful off ebay ....LOL Thanks for the reply and pics. I can't wait till we find our favorite home on the beach when we retire; I see what I get to look forward to....
