you could probabably put alley shooter in there...research what marbles were made at st marys.........or maybe pennsboro,,,,,prob not marble king patch and ribbon,....but if they were they would be the st marys types...

isnt watertown near new york city....i think that was pinks stomping grounds....kresge[sp] was a huge drug store then...maybe they had a stock pile of berry pink interprize marbles or somebody else found em or bought like a drum full then...theyre also sellin other toys....i dont find it so unbelievable....ive seen 55 gallon drums of marbles....even recently.....if that store was on pinks list id bet they bought marbles by bulk from him....and got lost in a warehouse then discovered em.....

i dont think marble king had anything to do with the trophy...berry pink called himself the marble king and promoted these tourneys ....it might be better than you think....not a marble king inc artifact.....like i said in my previous post...i dont know when they started usin the name at st marys but berry pink owned the name in the 40s.....

any body can name a national champion if they got the money for a trophy and maybe a bike for the winner....its all advertizing.......berry pink was the greatest ambassador for marbles...he named himself the marble king...the trophy figure crown looks like the kid on the cloth marble king bags.....not packed by marble king inc but by berry pink enterprize i think....i dont really know when the name change occured .......but in the 40s berry pink was prob promoting these tournaments.......why?........ too sell marbles....its a nice artifact....the one from n,j is probab the holy grail/......

nice mibs there edna....the vienna plant was in the southern part of town......the sign for parkersburg is just about back to back...maybe vienna was a small town back then and didnt have a post office or a big enough service to accomidate a company like vitro???or maybe when you went up that hill you were into parkersburg?????maybe the corporate office was in p-burg??????

my guess is that they put the crust on em so the bottom gets baked...then turn it over to fill it and bake the banana cream pie .........or lemon....or chocolate...or now im hungry.......
