these were the others...hard to catch the tranp base with a "snapshot". 1st group a little easier to see 2nd group was way darker

the "later" style...early 70's (maybe late 60's) i believe.

did you see the other auction with the green hornets? the rest of the mibs in that lot were all transparent blue based!! very nice!

lol....great!! i'm glad i got a bit of a head start on you! as for ID's i would say, yep, yep, and yep! is the last one smaller...like 9/16''? that is the only size i can seem to find them in, hoping there is a larger one out there somewhere!

Lou, It's the pictures where I didn't add a caption while downloading them. Now the "title" of the picture is "101_6371.JPG" instead of something like "Super Neat Awesomest Marble Ever" (lol). Does this make sense? d

i hope this isn't inappropriate, if it is i will not be offended in ANY way if this thread gets shut down. i'm focusing my collection and trying to get my swirls IDed (to send to new homes) and would love if all you swirl nuts (and ron, cause he's the man in my book) would pop over to LOM and take a peek (LOM). i'd post them here as well, but it takes me FOREVER to do pics here and i have quite a few. thanks in advance, d

in the tray just above where is says "and some peewees" (three rows up), are those purple rainbos that purple or is it my screen!! if those are purple they are SWEET....i've seen tons of rainbos, but none that color! NICE! d

seems like it must be a typo or something...not even remotely close to anything even guinea-like??? looked like ID's on other auctions were pretty good (if a bit embellished)and the auction title doesn't mention anything about guineas (which is where you'd think you'd drop that name if you were trying to snare unsuspecting persons). my guess is probably some kind of template and just forgot to change some of the key words (i've done it a time or two myself). ANYWAY, probably not the point at all. i believe that "guinea" should be reserved for the CAC beauties (JUST a newbie opinion), but in the past i've had auctions where i've included foreign guinea-like marbles and it's really hard to describe them without using the word "guinea" (i just say "guinea-like" or "type") and there is no doubt that putting that word in the auction draws a lot of eyes!! not sure why i felt inclined to share or why i'm so chatty tonight!!! d

i wasn't sure where to stick this, but i'm sure the cool mods will get it transferred to the right place. anybody know or heard of this guy (greenesmarbles)?? won and paid for a marble about 1 month ago and have seen or heard NOTHING. i've emailed, called, and finally talked to ebay...having to wait 5 days for some reason... i have a name, but not sure i can ethically report it here, but he's from WV. d

the MK bags look to be new....i'm pretty sure you can buy them for at the MOST a couple bucks a piece. $7 seems a bit high to me.

well, shoot....now that i got it out and took pics it doesn't look as close as I thought..... so i guess i should ask, do i have an "older" one.....and if not what time frame are we talking?
