  1. I do.. Even if discarded, as you suggest. Be nice to stumble on one!
  2. I'd be inclined to agree the two outside ones are Kokomo. From what I understand about them, that is. For the middle one I wondered about the MK swirl thing too, but the few I've seen (along with those published in Gerald Wichter's article) have all had basic red, blue, yellow, and green ribbons. No pink. And the pattern isn't exactly the same. But who knows. Here are the 2 MK swirls I have photos of -- ones I lost in a Bob Byard auction a long time ago . . .
  3. I watched it. Not sure about the understanding part. But it was my kind of show, as They say. Also the Twilight Zone. And another one hardly anybody remembers, "The Creaking Door." Twin Peaks, of course. And the X-Files. Lost. Seeing the new X-Files this week was oddly comforting . . . They're still out there . . .
  4. Would you consider this one I just got to be a mossy swirl? Don't know from mossys, myself . . .
  5. Wow, thanks for the pics, Don! Never seen that many all at one time! Some old friends of yours wanted to say hello --
  6. That's what I was thinking, but wasn't entirely sure. I feel better now.

    Coyote Ugly?

Chicago has a surprising number of coyotes. In the city limits. We kinda like them. We have more mice, rats, pigeons, and squirrels than we can use. That's great, feeding all those critters . . . wonderful pics.
  8. All opinions welcome. The darker ivory isn't an opaque color -- it's a transparent glass ribbon that' has just the slightest tint of amber / gray . . .
  9. I have a new favorite green. Just got this auger!
  10. I have a handful of the Heaton ones, all with annealing fractures, that were dug at the site --
  11. So it looks like a little yellow is OK?
  12. There you go. That's what I'm talkin' about.
  13. That's what I bought it as (what it was in my own mind), having recently been attracted to tracers! Thanks, Steph --
  14. Just got this in my marble mail last night. The seller called it a "Bloody Mary" but I don't know what a Bloody Mary looks like. It's not the first thing that would jump into my mind on first seeing this marble. Anybody describe a Bloody Mary for me?
  15. And that's how I started collecting marbles in the first place! Feeling lustful over those two little RW&B ones with mica . . .
  16. Please! And no -- don't let any of those nice but crazy people open them! And if you decide you really only need one bag -- two is so excessive -- let me know!
  17. A little starkness can be a good thing.
