  1. When it rains it pours. Dan's slag illustrations from another thread today.
  2. The top left view looks more like Akro to me than Pelt. I don't recognize the colors though. Edit: What Ron said.
  3. C'mon peeps! Let's get this young sportscaster some subscriptions.
  4. Very cool. A bag you wouldn't try to open!
  5. Ron's Vitro 8-fingers which Al posted in another thread today.
  6. We need that picture in the Classics thread. .... heading over to the Classics thread .....

    Ravenswood?

With that bright white, that might not be a bad guess.
  8. It does look Akro to me. I think those would qualify as eyelashes. Not eggyolk or oxblood though. The only famous bloodied eggyolk I know is the oxblood eggyolk. Like this one: http://marbleconnection.com/topic/23022-oxbloods-show-me-some-please/?do=findComment&comment=207033
  9. Yeah, the taupe isn't coming through. But I google "light taupe" to try to get an idea of what you meant.
  10. *handing Jess a nerf mallet to bonk the guys on the head*
  11. I'm not sure what you mean by nesting. These are definitely Marble Kings, so Marble Kings must be able to nest. I'm just not sure which exact part of the marble you're saying is nesting.
  12. I don't know if it is Marble King. Might be. But my first thought was Peltier. It's not fitting easily into a pigeonhole for me.

I see your V and/or U seams. You weren't imagining that. An example where color and ribbon pattern trumps seam shape.
  14. Totally Marble King. Two big beautiful "patch and ribbon" Bumble Bees.

I think Rainbo. Not seeing enough ribbons for an MCS. I'd put it with my 7-ups and see if it felt at home.
  16. Never thought of that. Not once. Air breathed by marble makers.
  17. The view on the top right is getting close to a Marble King "patch and ribbon" pattern but it's not there. I do not know a name for this pattern.
  18. Agree with slag. The bottom view might have a cutline. Need to see more distinct structure before I would think CAC. I'll say Akro for now.

    Vitro?

I would have guessed Jabo on that one. Or Anacortes Vitro?
  20. I'm quite jealous of your corkscrew passion. Have I mentioned that this year? I can't settle. Today I want to settle on black and yellow marbles. But tomorrow I will change my mind.
