Edit: oh good ... thanks Paul
  2. The first one is sharp. The last one is gorgeous. (The middle ones ain't shabby either. )
  3. I'll go popeye on #1 ... and just leave it at nice tri-color cork on #6.
  4. Yes, they're hooked! That's great, Joe.

    Fourth One

Hmmm ... more views on this one might help. I'm leaning toward foreign cat's eye, but other views could change my mind.
  6. Hi there. I think #1 is a foreign cat's eye . #3 is definitely a foreign cat's eye. Probably need to see more views of #2. Little to no value on foreign cat's eyes though sometimes the big ones can be worth a few dollars just by being big.
  7. I think #8 is a "mica". http://marbleconnection.com/topic/22238-mica-marbles/ My first guess for #7 is Vitro. Part of me wonders if it could be a Kokomo though (odds are very low for that).

What's it look like under blacklight?

If Paul is willing, I'd go that route. He has more marbles to compare it to. But I could give it a shot.
  10. Yes. Some pretty ones. Akro Limeade at #9. I'll go Popeye on #3 and #7. And maybe #1? ??? Is that a clear base? Or is that transparent green? Does #6 and any significant amount of clear or is that a pretty solid white?
  11. Put #1, 2, 3, 5 in your basic WV Swirl groups. Vitro Tri-lite on #4. And I'll say Vitro Tri-Lite on #6, but this one looks special. I'm leaning to another Vitro at #9. And then more pics on #7 please.
  12. That flecky one looks handmade. So the question is ... are the flecks mica?
  13. Some pretty 'uns. Eyes when to the Muddy first, and then the interesting ribbon colors on the bottom row and then to that green on the 2nd row! Now I can't take my eyes off that green. That's vivid.
  14. I'll go with Paul. But it just dawns on me, that I've never thought much about the structure of Akro Milky Oxbloods. Are they typically out and out swirls without even a little bit of corkishness?

    Alley? Wacky Akro?
  16. what a nice shade of green to wake up to
  17. Probably has to be one I've had on my wishlist for a LONG time -- no impulse purchase.
  18. Thanks to you both, Jay and Bill. Congrats to Bill. If you PM me with your vitals, Bill, I'll mail it on Monday.
  19. Not mine! Marblealan sold it. The blue and amber is a famous CAC ... the part I'm fuzzy about is whether the striped transparent version is called Blue Lace. Or if only the swirl version is called Blue Lace. So did Pelt have a similar color version? Or were you sold a CAC by mistake? I don't know the answer to that. Don't know what happened to my "click to enlarge" option. Here's a bigger version.
  20. Do you think of the bottom one as Chinese?
