Don't know what it is about those Japanese marbles but I love them. I do know what it is about that agate ... wow.

That could be an Akro. Maybe? It looks like an ear. I don't know what an "Akro Ear" looks like, but I remember hearing about them in my early days of learning about slags. Edit: Nevermind. I wish I hadn't said that. It sounds silly. I really have no idea at all what feature would be the Akro Ear. None. Zero.

And CAC is definitely not something I think of for that shade of purple. Not in opaque marbles.

Nice! And I like how that littler one looks like a Master in the 2nd photo -- had me fooled until I saw the loop at the base of the "V".

That last box must have taken a long time to fill.

The information that Rosenthal operated out of Sistersville about has me convinced. That is a perfectly good reason for the marbles to be there even if they weren't made there. p.s., I would have guessed Sistersville on the right for the little red one here because the stringy base looks like peewees found in my Rosenthal boxes. It would be cool for that one to turn out to be Akro.
