Well, two particular manufacturers, yes. Akro and Christensen Agate. But Berry Pink called some of Peltier's marbles moonies. I suspect he was just referring to a translucent base glass -- might not even have needed to see fire. And if I recall correctly, his version of moonies were allowed to have stripes.

What examples do you have of modern Marble Kings? Here's a pic of some little pink moonie-like ones I took for another thread. Smallish. They have fire inside. (The cats are modern also.)

Not sure I recall that post, but I seem to recall old packaging labelled peewee which contained marbles larger than 1/2". I think. ETA: In 1883 a "peawee" could be as large as "a good-sized marrowfat pea".
