There was a guy at the WVMCC show who showed pics of an approx. 6' tall X 4' wide American Indian portrait made completely out of different colors/shapes/types of old arrowheads. It was absolutely amazing. The piece was willed to him by an old man who spent his life gathering arrowheads and artifacts. Maybe Ron S. can tell you his name as Ron bought an old marble toy from him at the show. Paul Bunyon and Babe the blue ox toy perhaps? Man- my memory is going.

Why would anyone purposely, and with such sheer malice, tear apart a hobby that so many other people enjoy? What kind of a person enjoys hurting other collectors? What kind of a person blatantly poisons a forum? A forum that brings so much enjoyment to so many others? I give up. You tell me.

Hey Duffy- NY colors are blue & gold too. WV colors-according to Wikipedia- are old gold and blue. Those mibs are definitely WV colors 'cause you all are older than me

Patry knew her marbles. She started collecting machine mades in 1992 and really loved the sleepers. IMO Larry Castle & Marlow Peterson were great predictors in the sleeper department.

Those are beautiful Craig! You sure can find the sweet marbles. Is it my imagination or is the center mib a lot bigger than the others? I would have to say that the color combo is very unusual and on the rare side. I have never seen any like them and this Olive Oyl has seen plenty of the old Popeyes. Thanks for the peek!

I voted for who I admire/admired the most and it made me feel good to do so. My corner of the big wide world of marbles is small indeed but there have been some amazing people who did help to shrink that area a little bit more for me. Thanks gregg11 for the poll.

Guess someone thought it was too long and the pics were too large (among other things). Man- it took me hours to write the report and upload/post the pics. No biggie -I'll survive. Thanks Steph for your concern but it's alright. Really.
