How'd ya get such clean printers drawers?? Mine have ink stains so bad they're halfway black.

Got em all from Ron and Cheese, this isn't even 1/4th of em, I really got a load between the two of them.

The marbles are all dug Heaton in this display. I used some Akroware to hold a bit of the excess.

Agree W opal, those last pix are the clincher. Remember though lots of different manufacturers made marbles W opal glass not just Vitro. Nice mib BTW

Leaning Vacor, try a 30Watt 5000k daylight bulb, no flash if you're using one, you won't get the reflection or refraction like you do now, I messed around W bulbs and flashes for months till I was happy. I prefer natural sunlight over all but living here in the Pacific Northwest doesn't provide much of that in the Winter. Your pix are getting better BTW

Good pix, & yes I can see the single faceted pontil. The other may be melted as I don't see the usual rough surface left by an unfinished. One thing about the marbles you have there all in mint shape and not going to lose value. You'll have them and until you find the right buyer. Verry nice, look like they were made yesterday, somebody took good care of these, definitely some great marbles. I have some big Germans posted here in several places that look as if they have never been touched also. Germans were the first marbles I began collecting in the early 80's.

A holy berry has 2 red stripes, a transparent base with no white and a 7-up has red and white stripes on a transparent green base. ya, i see the one, clambroth is right but i still don't understand why they ended up being called a clambroth. the base glass is opaque, just doesn't make sense. all the other clambroths have a translucent white milky base, thus the name "clambroth" marbles, sometimes they just don't make any sense. The striping and construction is the only semblance I see. I wasn't there when it was named, who knows, maybe I would have called it the same thing ??

All older German onionskins, except maybe the one might be a few years newer but still a German onions. I can't make out the pontils (ground and faceted or unfinished or even a melted pigtail which usually only occurred on the larger marbles)The Looped is verry rare. The Cloud is yes verry nice also. I see faceted pontils on the Looped and the cloud indicating early production, i.e. mid 1850's to 1870 or so. All the faceting stopped just after the 1870's to time consuming for the evolving English game board market. After 1870 there were a lot W two unfinished pontils or one ground and one unfinished, though there was still some faceting going on. Verry nice marbles, not easy to come by. I seen them on AAM about a month or so ago also, I believe I commented then also ?? Can't remember ?? That shade of Green was also one of the harder colors to come by. Nice marbles, good shape too. I believe @Alan has some knowledge on these also.
