The ridged solid core is just a hair under 3/4" I have quite a few coats w/ av in them. I'll post some next Thursday. Well I guess I can post one now before I forget, this one is nearly @ one inch, has av. in several bands not only in the green, yes it is my favorite And another, a lot more sparse on this one and only in a couple of the green ribbons, Oop!! almost forgot, right around 11/16ths

UV. Custard type glass, not Lemonade, not Limeade, something else ?? You tell me, not silver ox either. The closest I can come is Custard glass, it's yellower than it looks. Very, very UV. reactive, a tad over 3/4ths w/ some very thick ox. Yes it was bought as a Lemonade ox, but ??

"Welcome to Marble Connection" Not a sleeping red devil. A ploy by the seller to bilk money from an unwary buyer. A "clearie" hard to tell what company since almost every company in existence @ one time or another made them. A "Red Devil" is a very rare marble made @ one time by the " Christensen Agate Marble Company" . Again, Welcome This link may help you a little bit, be very weary of any eBay seller, a buyer beware scenario. AAM Red clearie uv. patterns :: https://allaboutmarbles.com/viewtopic.php?t=50637 Here's one from an old Morphy auction in 2011, to enlarge the picture just click on it. Fantastic marbles David, coats are my favorites, the board is a great addition to a perfect set Just a sidenote, how many coats have you noticed w/ aventurine. ?? And what is your ratio of coats @ 1" or bigger ?? Just curious what you have on your side of the pond

Carnivals have a darker green base w/ black and orange ribbons. Yes your base is close but ?? I'm not seeing Alley IMO
-
Closest I can come color wise is a Carnival. Only one like it I've ever seen. Ron @wvrons& @mibcapper agreed a very rare marble, I got it in a lot of Alley I purchased some time back.

Old to Collecting, New to Glass

"Welcome to Marble Connection" Handmade - Machinemade- transitional, these make up 99.9% of the marbles out there, though I don't doubt there are some that are homemade. Your first marble looks torch made , all the next 7 look machine made to IMO. Ask any questions you like, you're in the right place, if it's about marbles or marble related there are many decades of marble & marble related knowledge here. Yes some marbles can bring hundreds even thousands of dollars. One thing I always keep in my mind is to collect what I like, of course as a collector that's what I do. There will be others that reply w/ individual I.D.'s for your marbles good luck & have fun. Again, "Welcome"- 9 replies

I have a zebra w/o av. but I think it's opaque, the translucent example you have is certainly different.
