  1. "Welcome to Marble Connection Jason" Man, what a Killer box, the information you seek is more than likely in the archives here, I believe Art has the Q on it already. "Good Luck" please present any other marble or marble related questions you may have and more than likely someone here will be able to help ya out !!
  2. Wadda ya know, same seller more transparent base colored sulphide, the pontils are very telling of a rush job, I can only hope no-one actually thinks these are Antique marbles ?? Their not even single gather construction, definitely cheesy contemp. efforts @ an Antique look. https://www.ebay.com/itm/304610877650?hash=item46ec3920d2%3Ag%3A38sAAOSw5DBjCoLb&mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&campid=5336393588&customid=&toolid=10049

  5. Don't know whether to laugh or cry ?? Guess I'll laugh ......
  6. I've seen the angel many times but can't place it ?? As well as the crucifix and several others in green and amber, all were contemporary. The slightly older colored ones had ground pontils and were part of the so called "California Sulphides" i.e. not Antique German. I was looking for some form of initials also, the amber cross has a weird crude looking pontil.
  7. Man, the Summer flew by, time goes so quickly now, barely time to blink. Hope these batches turn out as good or better than last years !!
  8. " Happy Birthday Galen" ....... ......
  9. The simple beauty of one of my favorite marbles of all time for this Wednesday, an Alley spruce, first under artificial light then out in the bright Summertime sunshine

  12. 100 here tomorrow, today was around 94, usually we're in the mid 70's by now w/ an occasional 80-85, definitely getting hotter in the kitchen no matter were you are !!
  13. A black opaque Indian by definition is a banded opaque. Indian, I believe is a collectors name, IMO. Opaque is opaque to me all 3 of Ron's examples are banded opaque's, just my opinion ....... ...... Needs more butter !!
