  1. Hello Art, Shoe grease has been around for over 100 years, we used it to waterproof and protect our leather boots when I worked out in the woods chasing (setting log chokers). " Huberd's" was the go too then. I am of course from the Pacific Northwest
  2. Well it is a corkscrew, so Akro IMO
  3. Thanks Roby, I'll start shopping around for a few starters, getting to be a lot of more hot and dry air here and I've noticed many people growing Palm trees and banana trees, something you never would have seen when I was a kid, they would've never survived the long winter, always damp weather, now a big change has happened so guess I'll take advantage of it and try something new !!
  4. What are a few types easiest to grow say indoors or in a window sill, able to withstand a freeze or two ??
  5. Mathew sells' a lot of Jabo & SMM, MMM, Vitro etc. along w/ others, just somethin to look @ Adam enjoy. Jabo did make some very beautiful marbles. They're really starting to take on their on there own. Mathew Davis, "BIBLEfreaks store" LINK :: https://biblefreak.org/Marbles/store/JABO-c27293325 2008 -20012 CONTRACT RUNS (lots of pictures may take a while to load) be patient, hopefully this will help ya out ?? Way to much for me to adsorb I know that, have fun !! LINK :: https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/anythinggoes43567/jabo-contract-runs-all-types-the-dave-mccullough-e-t1767.html
  6. I'm lookin ..... Now I'm thinkin .... Could ya post a couple more views Mibber ?? It does look "kinda" like an Akro cork in this shot "but" The cutoff or "termination" point looks weird, it probably is a cork but I've already ate gallons of "shoe grease" this month, now my shoe is stuck ... .... .... I could really use smore of that deeeliciouse butter ..... .... Mmm .... hey wait a minute, I think somebody slipped me a mickey ?? I'm feelin kinda drowsy ...

  10. Beautiful Roby !! The flower blooms in first pic looks almost unreal I think maybe I'm gonna give growing some cacti a whirl ??
  11. Only 1720 miles away Danny, I'm gassin up as we speak seriously thank for postin, that's a killer auction !!
  12. Just dug up a pic I haven't posted yet, another from the 09 auction, @ almost 1, 1/8th inches a large Latt. jelly core Josephs Coat for this "Thüringen Thursday" already posted all the coats I have now so gonna freshen up w/ a little retro.
  13. x2, Jabo, thanks for takin the new pix
  14. A repost I know but still my favorite and biggest mica Onionskin for this "Thüringen Thursday" a little pocket ware but I'm no gonna complain
  15. "Thanks Fire" no underlying opaque "skin" I can see between almost every colored band (ribbon) into the transparent clear base glass, Joseph Coat IMHO
  16. Do me a big favor Fire if you would and "backlight" your OP to see if it has an underlying "skin" or if light passes between the ribbons if you would. It will be the telling tale between a Coat or an Onionskin. Myself I can see light passing between the ribbons now in your OP & into the clear base glass indicating to me there is no "skin" thus I.D. as a Joseph Coat. Onionskins all have underlying opaque skin usually of white or yellow covering the entire surface of the marble under the ribbons of color giving no internal view, that's where the "skin" part of the name is derived from. You can see the underlying white skin in you polished mib from Mig and my busted up monster w/ the Maglite shinning into it, identifying these both as Onionskins. Skins :: COATS ::
