  4. You're right, this one is Peltier a, Peltier "NLR = (National line Rainbo) Bumblebee" to be more specific, and yes it probably has Aventurine in the black ribbons as Ric said, even if it doesn't it's still a Bumblebee.
  5. "Sunday Best" Not Sunday yet but going to hit the hay early tonight (I think ??) An Akro patch somewhat resembling a Royal in structure w/ Indian Blanket colors, dirty black av. and some silver also in the yellow, and very sparse amounts in the red, also some fine silver sprinkled throughout the black base glass. The best and only one like it I have
  6. ....... One of my German cousins probably made it long ago !!!!
  7. Seeing a W. Va. swirl, most likely Alley.
  8. The Pelt Wolverine is actually a hair under the .50" mark so well qualifies as Pee-wee. The hand ground (faceted) banded agate is right at .50". Don't ask me how they hand ground such a small agate? Probably something to do with the fact of being in a production oriented atmosphere, "no waste" ??

    A "Proud" parent & a Happy Kid !!!
  10. MCR, both Multi Color Rainbos, I think they have to have to be MCS (Multi color Swirls) and also have green in them to be in the Colorado family. A shot of a regular Colorado ; MC LINK : https://marbleconnection.com/topic/26048-peltier-oddities/page/6/#comment-228782
  11. Here's a link to the "Peltier info site" & a picture of a Peltier Moody Blue for ya !! LINK : https://www.peltiermarbles.info/rare
  12. I was thinking Mt. St. Helens myself Rick. I only live 50 miles away & see what's left of the Mountain every day out my back door. As a kid we used to go to Spirit Lake Park (Mt St. Helens) trout fishing with my Grandfather, directly across the lake against the Mountainside just like the picture was the Boy scout , Girlscout camps. It really does remind me of my Childhood, plus we had cups just like that in cub scouts ?? Hmmm !! I wonder ?? Gonna try and google it right now. Wow !! A what a menagerie of cups, it's gonna take a while but I "think" I'll find the correct one out of all these listed ?? 15. Thanks' "Quizmaster" I was, stumped again Who's that supposed to be on the lid ?? Lewis & Clark ?? A couple Boy Scouts ?? Just wondering if ya knew because I don't Signed ; The Fence Sitter .........
  16. I just seen the discussion on "Blood alleys" as well. Can't remember where either, some nice "Destroyers" you have there Hansel.
  17. Supposedly 99.9% of all the Indian Blankets & Superman corks were dug, especially the large examples. no direct knowledge but just what I've gathered from people who dug them ?? I know they're both inherent for having fractures in the translucent red color. I think a "so called" Indian blanket has to have opaque black ribbons to be considered an Indian Blanket ?? Here's a couple to look at, only the red is translucent. The base glass appears to be opaque yellow ?? Yours is still an outstanding mib Rick, just wondering do the darker ribbons appear to be black or amber, might just be the light in your pix ?? Another pic of the bigger of the two taken indoors showing the black and red ribbons corking around the yellow base glass.
  18. Well Art it's not a corkscrew but it is an Akro Lemonade & 5/8ths
  19. "Happy Akro Friday" Not positive but I think the collector name for this corkscrew is "Blood & Bones"
