  1. Not a slag a swirl, the base on yours appears to be an opaque white whereas a slag is a transparent base w/ opaque white swirls, the base on a slag can be a number of colors as long as it's transparent. i.e. green, red, yellow, etc....
  2. I still see Alley just not a pistachio, i.e. "Alley swirl"
  3. x2, agree Vacor, looks like it has an orange peel (Textured) surface ?? Another tell for Vacor, not all have it but a great many do, especially the larger ones.
  4. Vacor Galaxies don't have an iridescent shine, which is usually a tell for Vacor but Jupiter does, something I recently learned looking at the Vacor I.D. site several dozen times. Having an iridescent shine I'd call yours a Jupiter. I've until recently made this mistake inumerable times. LINK : https://www.billes-en-tete.com/liste_billes.php?lang=en " iridescent" "Non iridescent"
  5. x2, I see Heaton also
  6. "Welcome to Marble Connection" Clayton
  7. I'm can't really I.D. the red one ?? Looks like some sort of messed up swirl, I don' see a cork or anything Akro for that matter, so I guess we can disqualify at least a few manufacturers & narrow it down a little bit ?? So not seeing Akro, Pelt, MFC, Christensen, Vitro, Alley, MK.... were getting there but I don't believe we'll get a positive I.D. outa this one myself @ least not enough for me to go on !!
  8. I watched them both, they had somewhat HTF colors & a really nice swirl, I had a feeling they would fetch a good price. The 3 bag is getting VHTF. The final on this one still blows my mind, talk about the right place @ the right time
  9. A couple dug Heatons for this "Sundays Best" "Heaton Blue Denim" Another Heaton from the last dig, as yet unnamed and a bit on the rare side.
  10. Agree with transitional on the first, definitely looks like a pinch pontil to me !!
  11. I expected around $2000.oo but this surpassed my expectations especially considering the condition of the box & the current volatility of the collectables market !! Lots of repros but it's also been a while since I've seen an original Pelt Comic box for sale, especially on Ebay. 12. Thanks Bill ... Suweeet Akros ....
  13. Yeah a royal id is exactly the one I believe your thinkin of Rick, I guess almost any Akro could have av. i.e. "chemical reaction" Not sure but I believe the royals containing av. were intentional ?? I don't have any but I think Jason (bumblebee) has quite a few he acquired long ago in a score (He posted them on the score thread I believe ??), this is an old picture and the estimated price is whacked out but @ least everyone will know what were talking about.
  14. I agree 100% on the Pelt I.D. Labeled 5/8ths, kinda small for a so called "miller" but the seamless structure does fit the bill. I think I see what resembles a seam in this pic ?? Just a fold but as close as your gonna get as far as I can see !!
