Always wondered why they call em "Honkers"

Yeah !! exactly what I seen on the news, glad they could resurrect the problem. Although I wouldn't have moved or relocated unless you consider the human stomach a geographical location. From what I hear there's a lot of hungry folks around now and a Turkey dinner would fit the bill nicely & probably a whole lot cheaper than any relocation program ??

Man, surprise indeed, very, very nice !!!

I seen on the news (can't remember where ?? ) They were attacking & chasing people all the way home, they wouldn't stop for anything. My best guess is a problem with being "habituated" to human civilization i.e. "people"

Sorry man, you know I had to do it !!! No choice

I believe Danny Turner coined the phrase, naming the marble, at least that's what I was lead to believe year's Ago ?? Named for the very similar coloration of the R,G,Y parrot in the old Poll Parrot add. Ah well days gone by, guess I have to be willing to adapt, bend or break ??

Regular light bulbs have a yellow type cast, no blue or white "like the sun" natural sunlight is always best "if" you have access. FSB daylight bulbs w/ a CRI rating of at least 95 and a rating of at least 5000 K ( KELVIN : INFO SHOULD BE ON THE SIDE OF THE BOX ALONG W/ THE CRI RATING)are best for any pictures, especially macro and or glass, will show true colors. I know I have an extensive collection of trial and error case bulbs laying in the closet.

I know it's called a lifesaver now but didn't this type > used < to be called a "Poll Parrot" Art ?? I like Poll Parrot much better but nowadays people don't know what you're talking about : CIRCA 1920's - 1060's sometime ?? You know adapting the name from the old shoe add ?? Mascots like Poll Parrot starred in Vintage Childrenās Shoe Ads 1920-1960ās Poll Parrot Shoes Sign 1930 An Entertaining Mascot Iāve always been fascinated with the mascot characters used in many vintage childrenās shoe advertisements such as the Poll Parrot brand. In 1925, the parrot icon was the brainchild of Paul Parrot, the original owner of the Paul Parrot Shoes based in St. Louis, Missouri. Mr. Parrot had an obvious reason to use the parrot for his shoe logo that tied into his name and was a version of Polly Parrot. The company used several parrot models over the years and created the slogan āThey speak for themselvesā. Their childrenās shoes marketing campaigns included many giveaways such as rings, buttons, whistles, bookmarks and banks with the parrot illustration. Poll Parrot Shoes Slogan āThey Speak for Themselvesā In the 1930ās, a syndicated radio program was launched called the āCruise of the Poll Parrotā. The radio series featured adventures of a whaling ship also named for the witty Poll Parrot mascot. In 1947, The Company also sponsored the popular Howdy Doody childrenās show. The International Shoe Company bought out the Paul Parrot Company early on and used the Paul Parrot trademark for itās ongoing success.

Head gear would be a definite plus in here in my "2 armed" world !! But I guess maybe I have enough trouble running 2 arms w/ a one track mind ? .... Agree w/ Ron on the lighting situation, I finally have a satisfactory setup, got some good pointers from Ernesto (MRCOM) @ AAM on this link :: Simple setup, highly effective and most reasonable $$$ to assemble I've seen. I see a good possibility of it being "Imperial" or some other Asian manufacture

Whoa !! Guess certain sellers are reaching new heights in the "name game" trying to "$$$$ in" on the unwary mibster !! I hope they try coming here before any impulse buys !! Definitely not Akro or Pelt for that matter !! My best is a newer manufacture, possibly Vacor or maybe Chinese ?? Casper the "Friendly ghost" Oh brother !!!!! I suspect maybe a wolf in sheep's clothing Same seller w/ the rare and dreaded "Root beer Banana cats eye" ?????? And double "Whoa" ????
