It's alot of fun dressing up the property for the area kids every year. Unfortunately, the street I live on isn't like it used to be, back in the day everyone did their part with their yards. Neighbors come and go, myself and my good friends across the street are the only ones left here since I bought the place back in 01"...everyone else is "newer" around here and don't get into it I guess. I'll keep on keeping on π Hopefully I see some more posts with some cool decorations π

When in Winona yesterday, I saw a group of weights and among them was one that had a worn sticker on the bottom. Couldn't make anything out on it but it was red with gold trim (the sticker), similar to the stickers you will see on vintage Japanese figures and pieces. My phone was in the car and this was on the 3rd floor so no pics (sorry!), but any guesses on this one? Many colors involved with the floral design and the glass itself was "Hershey kiss" shaped.

The 2nd pic, is that a Teeter?

Nice...could you possibly provide some closer pictures of the animal figures? Would love to see them π

Yep, that's the place with the little bridge. And she freezes pretty solid. We went out there last winter when Patty's son and girlfriend were ice fishing there. Pulled in some nice Crappie. I'm not big on ice fishing but it was fun. It's only about 10-12 feet I think in it's deeper areas but the variety throughout the year is great.

We'll keep it with the cartoon characters theme...borrowed some of Patty's Disney collectibles π Happy Akro Friday!

Thought I would bring the family for the popcorn party

The orange is a cool feature....I have an Onyx Auger and a Prize Name with the orange feature. The Auger, it shows up with light or camera flash, while the Prize Name is orange in hand. And the Akro mib I picked up last week (listed here in ID), is like a Root beer color too me but I suppose some would say a shot of orange...cool stuff π

Thanks, Chuck. Found them mixed in with a handful of mibs that were inside an oil lamp. I'm anxious to hear more myself.

Dr. Pepper is an old brand. Late 20's I think.
-
This one could have been manufactured during the 40's according to some examples I have seen since posting. Still a nice find π

Picked up a vintage Dr. Pepper bottle today, my favorite soda pop. Bottled in Denison, Iowa. I'm thinking after reading up on it briefly that this one was in use during the 1930's. I am going to try to nail it down a little more accurately. Came relatively cheap too. Out of 3, the only one with the bottling factory town's name.

Haven't seen this color combo before. Akro or MK? This is 2 marbles...first 4 pics are one and the last 4 pics are the second one.

Not sure, but I know where a jar of Cat's are, most of which the base glass is an amber color? I've normally seen just clear or green in the wild. Any significance too this? Thought it was worth a mention.

Oops, doubletake....Γ2 I mean. Looked at it too quick before realizing 2 different mibs!
