A very Happy and snowy Slag and Swirl Saturday 🥶

That's the one that caught my eye immediately, the middle one in the 2nd pic....love em!

Actually, I think it's my first one like this, with regards to shape, size and the multiple colors 😊

The 1951 logo tends to be embossed, not sure about yours if it's a later piece. Or maybe not marked at all like Chad stated. Mine were difficult to see due to the swirls of color, had to feel for them too find them pretty much 😊

These came with my little score a week ago. Really wish that they were in better shape. Someone loved them! The first 4 are 0.73 - 0.83, and the last 4 are 0.51 - 0.53.

I remember you posting this info, it might have been in "Slag Glass Scores"...they are difficult to see but my candlesticks are marked with the 1951 logo. And I was thinking candy dish also with Sherry's piece. Love me some good looking slag glass!

Similar to my Imperial candlestick holders...

Here's that 2nd marble...

Once in a while I'll pick one up if it catches my eye...yours could be, maybe research the history of your area too see what some of the more common fossils are that are recovered (assuming yours was discovered in your area). I tend to find alot of varieties aquatic vegetation around here in the "shot" rock. It gets tricky, helps to know someone who has a little background (unlike me 😂). I found many large pieces in the rock pile that used to be along my driveway. What I thought was fossilized snake skin ended up being the leaves of an underwater plant!

Great group of posts! Pelt Tuesday was a busy one!

Few more too close out Pelt Tuesday for me 😊...the last one took 4 attempts, a little teenie hair kept photobombing me!

Fur on marbles is real....us pet owners know that. Especially after posting a picture only too get photobombed!

Natural lighting hasn't been great so these will have to do, a little closer with additional views....

No kidding, we've got upper teens here in Southeast Minnesota with 30-40 mph winds 🥶....in all reality though, it hasn't even thought about getting cold yet!

Ha! Seeing this made me think of one thing, Steph...the Gremlins in the movie theater! 🤣🤣🤣
