Keep coming back to this one...I can see where it could have been a possible Popeye. Plus with the fact that it accompanied another Popeye in these bags I picked up...
-
Love too hear some more opinions on this one...

That's the direction I wanted to lean...thanks fellas 👍

I'm still curious about the blue base glass....I know Master manufactured marbles with blue base glass but never saw any at this size until now. Fairly uncommon I would say?
-
Interesting...this is one I'm going to look at many times. My thanks 😊👍

Blue base glass? I like them and think about Master looking at them. 😊

Oh boy, I'll have to peek at the Vacor site again 😬
-
And there were alot of Pelts in these bags too...

I periodically play scratch games and got a crossword with 2 words in the same puzzle befitting a marble collector 😁 Actually, let's have some fun and see how many marble related words there are on this ticket...I have no idea, this just occurred to me 😁

Thanks...4 different manufacturers represented. I think my favorite is the 1st one, the only Vacor I have of this variety 😊

Yes indeed! It's a great post 👍

Forgot about the separation, thanks bro 👍

Sorry folks, everything I am posting is in the 0.56-0.64 range (best guess until I pick up a battery for my calipers), unless otherwise stated 😊

Didn't see anything similar with Vacor (which is what I thought at first), so going with some variety of caged Asian Cats on these...

Another one...visit www.history.com "Did Vikings actually visit Minnesota"....interesting article on the Kensington Runestone, a 200 pound slab found by a Norwegian farmer and his son while clearing stumps in 1898. This stone's runes apparently speak of Paul Knutson and Co. Landing here in 1362. Also, very interesting, evidence was supposedly discovered in Newfoundland that Leif Erickson (whose statue is at the state capital), landed here prior to that! Uffda! 😁

I should mention, I think you could probably Google this, but there is a gentleman from the Spring Grove area who is an avid historian when it comes to Norwegian history. If I remember correctly, he was involved with finding ancient Viking artifacts in this area, including a Viking longboat!

Very cool....I should poke around the area when out and about and see what I can dig up. Spring Grove is a Norwegian settlement, only 7 miles east of me. Also, Decorah, Iowa is deeply rooted with Norwegian heritage. Actually, Decorah hosts Norwegian royalty annually and also boasts a very impressive Norwegian museum, Vesterheim Museum. Wondering what I could find there....all these years and the kazillion times that I have driven right past it. Never have stepped foot inside. That might change after this post 😊
