If I would have needed it, there's a shop in Lacrosse, Wisconsin called "Treehuggers Coop"....they would have been hearing from me! As a patient and as a caregiver, I have seen what addiction can do. So CBD is an obvious, safe choice IMO....and it seems like every year, they keep adding more too the controlled substance list regarding narcotics. Patty has been on meds since breaking her neck in 2017 and slowly the meds she is on are making the list. The most recent ones too join the narcotics family that she takes is Gabapentin and Tramadol. Tramadol just got added last year. Great suggestion indeed, Rick 👍

I would actually call this the "Sparkler" of candlestick holders!

Lol, I can see that poster now! No pain meds, that was my choice also after they sliced my neck open. Granted, being numb from the surgery itself on one side of my neck and chest aided that cause a little. Still, my medical team was and still is in awe of my lack of "medicinal assistance" regarding comfort. You will be that inspiration also, whether you want to be or not 😊 Stay cozy and don't try to jump into anything too quickly like I did! I remember my first week home back in May trying to yank a window open. Ended up yanking my upper body out of whack! Talk soon...gotta jump into some yardwork while it's not raining!

I'm hopefull and praying you get the results your looking for, my friend. As with me, I know your looking forward to taking the off ramp off of that well traveled road!!! So, if I may ask, are you admitted until next weeks surgery or was this one as an outpatient then you go back for the second one? Totally cool if you don't want to disclose any details at the time, just curious. I'll check in frequently. You have constantly been there for me during my continuous medical adventures so expect the same. Prayers!👍 Oh, and by the way folks, don't let him fool you. He picked up that tough guy/no pain meds thing from me! 😉

I know what your saying...I actually thought Master myself without that closer look, but it would still be nice! Wish I had a bunch of Sparklers myself...I do own one, and have seen many nice examples. My single Sparkler, I was lucky enough to find in the wild in a mixed jar...

I Still think it deserves some up close, in focus shots of its own. Sunsets and Sparklers are among the most colorful mibs out there and one could never get enough of their beauty...

Thanks...my favorite aspect of this one is the micro thin red line and the red "dot"...

Went frogging for Largemouth Bass yesterday for a few hours. I was shown a secret spot just across the state line, down a gravel road. It was called Hawk's Pond. Actually, it's quite large for a pond. And it took about a 20 minute hike through the woods too get too it. Man, was it ever overgrown! The pathway was still there, but it was easily evident that it seldom was used. We had some strikes but couldn't hook any, but still was a fun afternoon. I can only imagine how big some of these fish are in there. It was dug and stocked years ago by an area farmer. From what I gather, his hope was that it would get fished after he passed. Doesn't look like it's happening much at all. This pond, more like a small lake, was created back in the 50's or 60's I think. There's also a spring that runs parallel to it. I even came across a tree that had grown through a discarded tire, completely filling it! Also found some old barbed wire with porcelain fittings. I will provide pics next time!
