  1. Agreed 100%. There are no fools here--only those looking for information. If you are afraid of looking like a fool--marbles is not your gig--study-study--study--then still get them wrong and still not look like a fool--not here at The Marble Connection. We all get them wrong--sometimes more for one of us than the others but all opinions are appreciated and contested if nessecary. There is little ego displayed here--some get it--some do not--live and learn--keep trying--you will get it sooner or later. Just keep your chin up! Marble--On!!!

    Master?

I think that Master Made Marbles is a good call here. I can see the hardness of the glass (just my eye) Master Made Marbles manufactured some very indestructible marbles, they still hold up quite well to this day. The red one looks like the glass was very well “cooked” before it was run into the process. Like I said—just my eye—all opinions are welcomed and appreciated. Marble—On!!

    Alley?

Me too Ric--give it up! Marble--On!!
  4. It could be one Ric, but the quality control is a bit off--this one is a bit out of round. DAS and SMM have a better handle on it than this imho. Marble--On!!
  5. It sure looks that way to me--does any of it react to UV light? Patches are hard and I do not blame anyone here for a miss-step (including me--) Marble--On!!
  6. Very nice with the purple--great marble!! Marble--On!!
  7. This is a nice slag--the lower right is a Vitro IMHO-- The WVS--well---- Champion is a good call here. Size always matters!!!! Marble--On!!
  8. I agree--nice call Steph! Marble--On!!
  9. Good call Tommy--I agree--- The lower right may be a Vitro--the other two--well they are all patches--- Top right--Vacor--bottom right----Vitro. More opinions are needed here--- Marble--On!!

No Vacor here No Vacor here--- Champion or---on the left---size always matters. CAC on the right--or maybe Alley--------- Marble--On!!

    2 Akro?

These are both Akro--- Good eye Melissa!!---- Marble--On!!
  12. I think that Mellisa got it right. The left is more of a classic MK--the right--well just a great newer example. Just my thoughts! Marble--On!!
  13. X2--not from the USA inho. To sell a contemp in the good ole USA--the mark must be higher than these. Are there any new makers that you can ID over on your side of the Atlantic? Marble--On!!
  14. That does makes sense to me schmoozer when you consider all of the recycled glass that the Chinese use. Marble--On!!
  15. That little stove is just Killer!! Marble--On!!
  16. Good idea Mojo. Atmopsheres are way more more common @25mm--(+-) a few millemeters. These are not Atmos--just sayin. Something else--- Marble--On!!
  17. The "Special Order" Atmospheres came in @ 45mm and 50 MM. I have one of each- neither has any reaction in the clear base glass. The small ones show no such reaction either. Some of the yellow colors in these reacts as orange. Check closely for pontils or cutoffs on your two Mojo--they may be contemps--or not. Old handmades do react like your two do--sometimes. Compare to any "Sulphides that you may have. Marble--On!!
  18. Nice image! I think that "Hurricane" is ruled out. It may be a Jabo but it may be a WVS as well. More opinions are needed--maybe a few more nice natural light images too. Marble--On!!
  19. I agree with Ric--the "black" line is oxblood. Marble--On!!
  20. Patches are tuff to ID sometimes. I do not see any Masters. The top one may be an Akro--that what I would sort it as. The middle one--Vitro--the last one--MK or Vitro. Just my humble opinion. Marble--On!!
  21. Nice one for sure! Marble--On!!
  22. The one on the left reminds me of a Vacor "Hurricane". Compare it with some examples online--Hurricanes can get pretty wild. Marble--On!!
