Cheese and I both posted within seconds of each other. This is not a response to me at all. I suggest a re-think and better vibes from all involved. I agree with Steph. The thing with Akro is the cutline does not always follow the stretch of the colors to a point; you may be able to discern a “C” type cutoff beyond the colors pointed end in the matrix. Generally Master Made Marbles do cutoff to a point with the colors—generally at least. This is the way for me. Most will be right—some—maybe not but if I cannot tell, who cares really. Then you get into Master Glass Marbles which may have been using Akro Machinery. We will find out some day. Marble—On!!

I associate big blow holes with Pelts. Of course we only see the very best in books and posted images. I have never been a big show attendee, so I suffer from the lack of discussion on this type. Did Kokomo’s suffer the same with blow holes? Kokomo had the same machinery and many of the same recipes for the glass. Maybe—just maybe—the middle one could be a Kokomo imho. What a delight that would be! I appreciate all opinions and hope for some more info on this subject. Marble—On!!

Alley made some great transparent green glass marbles. Check out the “Mountain Dew" and the transparent “Corals”. The Mountain Dew would be a nice one to have—not yet—lol. A Killer color combo for sure. I am a color guy vs a pattern guy. I think that Alley is as close as this one gets. I appreciate all opinions and welcome them. Nice marble! Marble—On!!

LOL. Someone got me mixed up with a Zamboni driver in Colorado🤪. I am quite capable of stirring the pot. I just prefer a spoon made from pixie dustto one made of cast iron. My truth is that they could all be Alley Agate. My only question would be the one on the right. I really suck at WVS ID and all opinions are needed and welcomed. Marble--On!!

Oops I found one more from this weeks buys. This one is 3/4". Maybe the newer collectors do not like "Bricks"--I am OK with that--lol. Marble--On!!

This one is not perfect @11/16" but for this day and age--not too shabby--I put it in the "Brick Drawer". I just love the original finish regardless of the hit marks. Those little dimples just make me smile ear to ear. Marble--On!!
