  1. Ric , I agree, But-- we always see these marbles online as the best examples. This may not be the best but I sure appreciate seeing it. Marble--On!!
  2. Welcomed FinnsFnds! I agree with Ric. Not a monetary value here other than the learning ---- which I always appreciate. It is a Master Made Marble imho and it was well worth a posting here. Keep them coming, my marble collecting friend. If you like marbles like we all do here, you will continue to post whatever you have for an ID. No shame will be applied—ever. We all have "started" and we all have to adjust to the newer collectors. We will all be here for you to ask for opinions of regardless of the condition of what you have to show. We love them all. Marble—On!!!
  3. The middle one is an Akro “Tri-color” patch imho. Marble—On!!
  4. I agree here. Fire, I agree. Nice marble!!
  5. I am not one to discourage backlighting at all, it always has it's place. This one deserves some natural sunlight included imho. Marble--On!!
  6. I agree, The first one with the"coral" color involved deserves some more images imho. That is a nice one! Marble--On!!
  7. Me too, better images are needed of the cutlines. Marble--On!!
  8. I agree with Ric, The last images may show some Vacor "Black Panther "Tweeners". This is bound to happen during a change over of glass colors. The Chinese makers have been copying Vacors for years now. Here is a link to alibaba—the Chinese version of amazon—just search marbles and be surprised. https://www.alibaba.com/ Marble--On!
  9. Akro imho. The patch on this one is deceiving. They were intended to go pole to pole. Nice marble and nice ask as well! Marble—On!!
  10. Yes I did google it--lol. Marble--On!!

  12. I agree with Ric--X2. Marble--On!!

    Alley?

I was lust looking at the one you purchased. The little squiggle in it caught my eye, very interesting. Lets us have a better image of it when it arrives. The OP is an Alley "Pistachio" imho. The black in these is actually a very dark brown. Years ago they were thought to be CAC, the diggers saved the day again! Thanks diggers! Marble--On!!
  14. This is a new one to me—the name and the design. The image shows what may be an iridescent finish. I would have to see it in hand to give any further comments. Marble—On!!
  15. Football!! I just got done and I still think that it is pretty . My Ariens double stage and my little one stage Toro teamed up with me at the controls and we just ate it up. The less shoveling the better in my world. It does help to be retired—lol. I will never be a “snow bird”. I love all the seasons here in Wisconsin and I would rather blow snow than mow my lawn. I am guessing that we got from 12-14 inches but hard to tell with all of the drifting. Some in our city lost power--what a drag--not us though, I am just thankful for that. The snow is cleared, the birdfeeders are filled and now-- Now I am ready for some Football!!.
  16. These are weird--Vitro/Jabo late or early. I suggest that you send an image to Dave Mccullough. Marble--On!!
  17. I have seen a few 5/8” Pelt Rainbos with this color combo. The black was actually brown as I recall—I wonder? Marble—On!!
  18. Just the lighting Ric. No pinkish in hand, just creamy white. Marble--On!!
  19. Can I jumpstart Akro Friday with this one? One inch and just killer! Marble—On!!
  20. There is an almost identical box to this one with the Peltier name applied along with the Ottawa Illinois tag rather than New York. The one that you show is quite common, the Pelt one is less so and way more desirable. $25 dollars is all the money here and not worth weathering the storm imho. These were a part of a “Chinese Checkers” game box and were not sold as separates as far as I know— Marble—On!!
  21. Happy Akro Friday! This one is just over an inch, probably dug or “experimental”. Off white (very cool to me at least) and a more regular Akro Agate green are included here. It is in very fine shape though and pretty minty for one out of the ground imho. These larger Corkscrews always get me going, there are not too many to find so I jump on them when I get a chance. Marble—On!!
  22. The white mixed in with the green in image one makes me fall away from Akro for an ID. I do not think that I would sort it as a "Coral". I am with Cheese. They do not all have names but this one is very nice imho. Marble--On!!
  23. Nice marble! Nice deep white! Could it be batch glass vs cullet? I have noticed in my backlighting experiences that even the transparent colors will show "Feathering". I cannot explain it but it is there for any that want to know and experiment. Not all have it, just a few imho. I just love a Pelt Red Slag! Marble—On!!
