  1. They call it marble collecting and I am just one of they. I look and I discover--I just do not look and call it as it was. We all do our best here and mistakes by me may trump yours--just sayin. Marble--On!!
  2. Good job Jimbo.59!' The first image--the one on the left is more that likely an Alley Agate swirl. The Christmas Tree I will not blame you for--it does show some green--but green was used as black by many marble makers--this one is a "Rebel"--maybe a crossover--but still a "Rebel" imho. The shooter--- I have seen this color combo in smaller Pelts. This one needs more images of the cutmarks to tell the truth. Of course, I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Merry Christmas and-- Marble--On!!
  3. I agree with Chad --get a few more images. It is more than likely a Pelt and I do not really get any hoop-di-rah other than a nice example of a "Rainbo". Of course size alway matters but I see these as 5/8". These are new times for collectors so maybe a hoop-di-rah is in order. Merry Christmas!! Marble--On!!
  4. Just for kicks, measure the Akro Oxblood patches. For what ever reason these seem to show up as 9/16" rather than 5/8". I know where Chad is going--look hard--Nice looking Chad! Marble--On!!
  5. To all of you--Drive safe and be Happy! Merry Holiday Season to you all! Marble--On!!
  6. I wonder if these bottom two were what Akro wanted the blue oxbloods to be??? I have seen one--I might still have it--too many marbles?? Never! Nice group! Marble--On!!
  7. I just love it schmoozer! Marble--On!!
  8. It could be a Vacor "Black Panther". Marble--On!!
  9. You mixed them up boris--except for the middle one😁. The left one does have a Vitro look to it--in hand is always better. The middle one--like I said in hand is always better--it is giving me some Jabo vibes. Nice Marbles! Marble--On!!
  10. A blow hole in a Pelt is a ā€œmetal of honorā€. The amount of mint marbles is low with Pelts if you desire no blow holes or bubble pops. This is a nice one—just sayin. Marble—On!!
  11. imho--these could be Alley Agate but I suspect a different maker for both of them. The rwb was a common color for many makers—but this one looks special to me. I would be surprised if it is not. Marble—On!!
  12. The ā€œroad and tunnelā€ along with a variety of other traits will show up in a variety of swirls and makers. This is just the way of machine made marbles. The German that you show is not so common to find but more common in this color combo. Still—a nice find. Marble—On!!
  13. OK Fire here is one— Funny how my birthday presents were always wrapped in Christmas paper. ā€œYes Art, this is a birthday presentā€ā€”lol. I never minded—just knew better at 3 years old---still do—this was/is the way. Happy Birthday—to me. Marble—On!!
  14. The middle one is a Pelt—it may have a name. It may be a red Zebra imho. The left one is a Vitro Conqueror—the one on the right is hard to tell—it may be a Vitro Cateye. Nice group— All opinions are welcomed and appreciated. Marble—On!!
  15. The left one is a ā€œGerman Striped Transparentā€ imho. The other two are nice WVS imho. Nice marbles—all of these. Marble—On!!
  16. @3/8" this is a tiny one. Compare the reddish part to some known Pelts that you have. The wee ones do not come together like their bigger cousins. It may be a Pelt imho. Marble—On!!
  17. This one is a WVS treetiger--no Jabo here imho. I cannot figure out the ruler measure very well though. Marble--On!!
  18. Nice images! I am becoming convinced that it is handgathered. The Pontil is a weird one. I cannot imagine who made it, or when. 3/4"--nice marble. Marble--On!!
  19. akroorka

    Alley?

I see some transparent glass in this marble--it is more than likely a mix of the white and transparent. Just MHO--- Marble--On!!
  20. E-Bay. I have been a customer for years--these were a steal as far as I am concerned. Shooter size I have never seen--post one or two just for kicks. Marble--On!!
  21. Top Image—top left looks like an Akro Patch, the one to the right of it may be—can’t tell for sure. These were commonly found in the tin Boxes that Akro sold. The biggest one is an MK. The rest are WVS imho. Nice group! Marble—On!!
  22. This pouch was sold as a pouch as near as I can figure. I bet you could have found one at Wall Drug in South Dakota. The nuggets probably were sold next to them--sorry no gold--LOL. Marble--On!!
  23. These are some nice ā€œNewerā€ Marble Kings. My questions are—is there a name for these—were they sold in bags—when were they made?? These get my blood boiling—did I miss them at Walmart or Target or maybe even the local Tractor Supply? Thanks and— Marble—On!!
