  1. We all started somewhere Kiwigal. I appreciate your images and look forward to what you have to share in the future. My first marble was not much better--I still have it! Marble--On!!
  2. I agree, next time lay it down next to the ruler with the graduations more evident. If I came across this one I would have no problem sorting it as a Master Made Marble. Marble--On!!
  3. Yep! If this one was clean I would call it a Jabo. It looks dug and as far as I know there are no dug Jabo yet. Cheese is right on, he has been there and done that--dig. Marble--On!!
  4. Nice marble! Nice Find!! I agree with Alley. More opinions are needed for sure. Marble--On!!
  5. I looked and looked at this one. This one is another good example of my study of Vacor marbles. I tried to make it a Vacor and it just did not add up. Imho this is a Vitro—“All-Red” coming in at 7/8”. Nice coverage for sure—a killer Vitro. I appreciate all opinions and wish to see some. I learn every day and I appreciate that from all that include themselves in the posts. Marble—On!!
  6. Thanks cheese, I have always thought of "House of Marbles" as a "Jobber" of those made by other companies. Live and learn—as always--- Marble—On!!
  7. This one is between 3/4” and 7/8”. White with an amberish/greenish base glass. Yes, it is out of round—still pretty cool. I think that it must be an Alley Agate. I appreciate all opinions and look forward to them. Marble—On!!
  8. I love it--a new one for me! Great find! Marble--On!!
  9. I believe Fire. Been there done that--we are not alone. UFO -- on!!
  10. This marble measures in at 5/8” right on the dot. It resembles a Ravenswood “Blue Raven” and a Ravenswood “Green Raven”. The trouble is—it has both green and blue involved along with a mix of both colors. My only hope is that these images show what I have here. I need some opinions for sure. If you need more info—just ask. Marble—On!!
  11. This looks like an Asian machine made marble that came from a house fire to me. I respect all opinions. Marble--On!!

  15. The top image--left to right. Jabo classic, Jabo classic, the right hand one maybe a Champion "Hot Wheel". More opinions are needed and welcomed. Marble--On!!
  16. I just love your avatar! There are actually a small group that collect "Beach glass" marbles. Try a search on google and be rewarded. Marble--On!!
  17. Nice marble--nice find! Marble--On!!
  18. Thanks cheese. Nice marble! This is the first that I have heard of them having a machine. I need more info and will appreciate anything that you have to add. Marble--On!!
  19. I agree Mojo--you did your part for sure. I appreciate you and what you have done for all of us that get a tad crazy with marbles. Marble--On my friend!!
  20. This is a nice blue "bennie" or "Bennigton". They are "glazed" clay marbles. In my world the bigger or smaller the better. They get quite big--over 1" and quite small--inder 1/2" The brown ones are more common in my experience followed by the blue ones. These come in a variety of colors that may be mixed. The little eyes or dots are a result of them being stacked together during the firing finish. The glaze kinda stuck to each other as they were packed into the kiln quite tightly. Marble--On!!
  21. I will stick to my guns here--I have lived and learned. There is no marble in my entire collection that shines like the one that you posted from "facebook". A bit-of-Windex and it looks like your OP imho. Thanks for the update--it is no MK imho--just a very shiny--and very nice--Imperial. Of course, I may be wrong and I will always appreciate more opinions and look forward to seeing them all. Keep them coming my marble collecting friend and I will keep my opinions coming as well--right or wrong. Marble--On!!
  22. “Calligraphy”--Alley Agate, just a killer marble! This one is from “The Wild”. Keep looking and searching—they are still out there. Marble—On!!
  23. I have had a few polished by the best--Leroy. It was early on in my collecting addiction --never again. I still look at them as polished and a learning experience as well. He did very well--I think that I jumped the gun. Today, I would trade them for a nice corkscrew. I paid bad money for marbles that I do not really like that much today. Original surface rules regardless of the defects---imho of course. Hold the reins in--whenever it counts and of course--- to the next! Marble--On!!
