  1. That is a nice marble with some great images! I am on a size rant today so I will throw that at you as well. Marble--On!!
  2. Size matters--Always. Many companys used UV reactive glass in the cullet that they used for production. I am not getting a "Pistachio" feel from these that you posted. If these are under 5/8" I would say Ravenswood. I do suck at WVS ID so-- Many more opinions are needed and welcomed. Nice marbles!! Marble--On!!
  3. This one is a Peltier, no doubt in my mind. The black may show some AV--slim but it is there. I never judge a Pelt by AV content so it is moot regardless. I appreciate all opinions and look for some more to be posted. Marble--On!!
  4. Remember the old song--"If you have the money, I have the time"?? I have the time for sure. Marble—On!!
  5. This is a common slag imho--just no white showing Marble--on!1
  6. I have to mention Vacor "Rooster". They really will throw a loop into any red slag ID. I will agree with Ric though. The white looks like it is a recipe to me. Nice marble!! Marble--on!!

Even Ron gets tired-- This is a WVS. Marble--On!!
  8. Agreed for sure. 9/16" corkscrews are a hard find. An Akro peewee is a patch imho. Marble--On!1

    Master?

I have read all of the comments and I appreciate all of them. I had to get away from them and restart. I get the lower left one with what appears to be some white showing through is as though it may be veneered. I punched up the images—Great ones by the way Melissa!!! Patches are hard-I looked very hard--- All are Akro imho. All opinions are welcomed and appreciated. Marble—On!!
  13. I agree with Master but it most certainly was worth a closer look because if it was a Pelt—which I thought as well, it would be a weird/nice one. The left one may be a Jabo but the colors remind me of Heaton. All opinions are welcomed and appreciated. Marble—On!!
  14. Thanks Cheese. I agree. When I lifted the insert from the box these little chits just lifted from vacuum and littered the floor. I just found another chit today--very cool to find one like this indeed. Marble--On!!
  15. Great minds think alike. I would love to see some better images of this one Melissa. It has me fired up for some reason. Marble--On!!
  16. Not Jabo--size always matters. I have run across these and taken them to shows for an ID. Mine were one inch or therabouts I believe, I have two of of them in my collection somewere--lol. Yours look smaller with much more blue involoved. I was told that these are "Older Vacor". I was never able to verify it through research on the interweb or from any books. I still wonder?? Cool stuf!! Marble--On!!
  17. Great stuff all! Thanks!! You know--If you have not seen it before--buy it. I just love this stuff!! Marble--On!!
  18. Gosh--That looks like me--about twenty pounds lighter--LOL. Marble--On!!
  19. Good eye Ric--like I said--As found! I appreciate this comment and realize that some time was taken to give it. Marble--on!!
  20. Well----I got your attention Nantucketdink. I just love this stuff--History. Marble--On!!
  21. I have seen these Kaysons boxes of marbles before but never with a game involved. This is just a share for any that are interested. These images are as found. The box is practically unused with the dimples from the holes in the bottom of the box yet. I will call it a great find in my world. All opinions are appreciated and welcomed. Marble—On!!
  22. At Just a hair over 7/8” This is a “Clearie” (Clear as in no color with just a hint of yellow UV reaction possible in hand---no yellow reaction here—just a gut check)—it is slightly out of round and it is an Akro imho—probably from a dig. Yes, this is the same marble—both sets. This is why the new generation of collectors loves a good black-light marble (or some of the older collectors as well—I sure do!) UV light reveals a lot—cut me some slack on the blue reflections; they are from the UV light which was deployed. The orange is the thing---just killer—under UV it looks solid and opaque. The camera flash reveals some brown in this “Clearie” which is just crystal clear in hand. I tried my best—no sunlight today—go figure. “Backlight them all” and hit them all with UV light as well. They may not be worth a terrible lot but once you find them they are priceless. They all deserve a good look! We all love this stuff—I sure do!! Marble—On!!
  23. Yes, I would. Marble--On!1
